What Coddlet collects
Coddlet collects the account email you use to sign in, pet profiles you create, care logs, photos you upload, documents you attach, and the conversations you have with the coach. If you enable notifications, Coddlet also stores the subscription needed to send them.
How that information is used
This information exists so Coddlet can plan care, remember your pet, send reminders, and improve the coaching loop. Coddlet does not sell personal information. Photos and pet records stay tied to your account and are not used as public training material.
Analytics
With your permission, the Coddlet website and app use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and product steps are useful. Analytics is off until you allow it. Declining does not limit registration, pet care, conversations, or billing, and Coddlet sends no cookieless analytics pings after a refusal.
When enabled, an anonymous browser identifier and 30-minute session identifier are shared between coddlet.com and app.coddlet.com. Some successful product and payment facts are sent from Coddlet’s server through Google’s Measurement Protocol so a blocked browser request does not corrupt the paid funnel. Email addresses, pet names, message text, file names, invite codes, private links, and payment request IDs are excluded. Analytics cookies and identifiers expire after no more than 13 months; GA event data retention is configured to 14 months. Your first choice is shared between the website and app and is not shown again during that period. Clearing Coddlet site data in your browser resets the choice, so the banner is shown again on your next visit.
Retention and requests
Care history is part of the product: Coddlet needs it to stay useful over time. If you want an account deleted or a copy of what Coddlet holds, write to support@coddlet.com.
